Etat-des-Lieux, a contemporary lighting system defined by its variable silhouette, is designed with an innovative approach, offering limitless possibilities for modulating light and form. This lighting system is inspired by the Laurentian landscape in Quebec, where the darmes studio is based, imbued with poetry and meaning. Clean and aesthetic, the modular system offers multiple ways to occupy a space and create a central artwork within the room it is arranged in.
Etat-des-Lieux is the only luminaire to use a wide, flexible conductive strip. Developed and manufactured exclusively for Etat-des-Lieux, it supports the light modules while providing their electrical power. In an elegant matte black, this flexible strip allows the interior designer or space creator to play with geometry and tension.
The hand-blown glass globe is available in 4 colors: clear, pink, grey, and amber, with transparent or frosted finishes. It houses the light module, made of clear anodized aluminum and frosted glass, which can be positioned towards the ceiling or the floor to diffuse the light. We offer different possible configurations in our État-des-Lieux collection with one, two, or three glass globes, allowing it to adapt to and make a space unique.
The lights are assembled in the DARMES workshop in Canada, using recyclable aluminum, in partnership with local suppliers. These collections are shipped worldwide with carbon neutral shipping.
Etat-des-Lieux collection won the Archiproducts Design Award in 2020.
